As a Creative Producer and Educator, I specialise in developing and producing sustainable projects, resources and programmes for arts organisations and government entities who embrace creative partnerships, and value the impact of the cultural arts on growing the economy and fostering wellbeing in society.

Previously, Head of Education at Louvre Abu Dhabi I was responsible for programming activities, projects and training that facilitate human interaction and live interpretation of the museum collection and architecture engaging adults, museum professions, corporate sector, youth, families, universities and schools.

For the last 15 years, I consulted and strategically advised educational institutions and the public cultural arts sector, on short-term and ongoing basis in the UAE and UK.

Today, my experiential training programs, workshops and retreats, under Creative Elements Circle inspire creativity, empower self-development, improve communication and increase productivity through the catalyst of nature and art. Dedicated to empowering future cultural leaders and women ready to branch out in a new direction after lifetime of experiences and ‘walk back to their true selves’.

With each new project, I work with a unique collective of creative directors, artists, and wellbeing practitioners that reflect cultural context of my location.

Having worked extensively in the performing arts, education and the cultural sector,  I am able to fuse together elements from each discipline to create unique multi-disciplinary experiences. I have worked both nationally and internationally, and managed events at festivals and projects in the UK, New Zealand, UAE, Sultanate of Oman and Germany.

In the Middle East I have led, designed and managed the establishment and delivery of a national, government reform project: a one year, award bearing, internationally accredited, professional development programme in the Creative Arts for all of Omani New Teachers. Securing and developing partnerships as part of the programme with the following cultural institutions: The National Museum, Royal Opera House Muscat, Bait Al Zubair Museum, Children’s Museum, EcOman, Planetarium and Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque.

Creative Elements was commissioned by Art Jameel International to research the provision of Arts Education in the UAE and Creative Partnerships in Dubai and Sharjah in 2014. The research identified the need to develop high-quality, strategic arts programming to meet the need, and market demand, ahead of opening of the Jameel Art Centre, Dubai. Sarah presented the findings to delegation from New York Metropolitan Museum (MET).

Breadth of experience in developing and producing creative strategy for the performing arts and education sector extends to a senior management level at Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre where I was a Learning Consultant, content writer and practitioner advising on Globe Theatre community outreach, national strategy, MA course leader for the Performing Arts in the Classroom modules and training Globe actors to become Teaching Artists.

Founder member, actor, director and producer of Third Eye Theatre Company (1997 – 1999), I produced a number of one-act plays at the Off-West End Fringe Theatres including the White Bear, the Landor and at the European Theatre & Arts Festival at Theatro Technis. Following this contract, I joined Spectrum Theatre Projects where I directed, devised and performed original theatre interactions at the Millennium Dome, Science Museum, Transport Museum and Imperial War Museum until 2001.

Since 2008, I have been an assistant facilitator with Crying in the Wilderness Productions.
